Kim Makumbe
Born in 1998 during Zimbabwe's golden age of music, Kim Makumbe draws inspiration from Whitney Houston, Kim Walker-Smith, Asa, and Rihanna.
Since starting her music career in 2019, she has gained recognition for her
"versatile sound",
ranging from Afro-soul to pop and RnB.
Her single "Time" has been played on BBC Radio Leicester, and she was nominated for "Best RnB/Soul" at the 2023 ZIMA awards.
Kim is currently working on new music and has performed at various events, including The Cookout, The Jam Tree, Oktoberfest, Star FM Awards, ZIMA Awards, ExQ’s Enoch Album launch and the State House, to name a few.
